Hi guys, this is my first time using Mantid. I am hoping to get some help regarding how the data is stored coming from the TOPAZ detector. Christina from TOPAZ has written script that slices up one run that traverses temperature, and this makes a 5D data set of h, k, l, intensity at that hkl, and temperature. It looks like it’s done in a function called ConvertToMD and MergeMD. Opening slice viewer on the merged data lets you see the data where the intensity is represented by a color axis. I want to plot the intensity vs. T for a given hkl, which the slicer can’t do I think. Also probably it’s the integral of a small circle around a given hkl but that’s minor. Anyway, either I can modify the slicer or process straight from the raw data, but I don’t know where it keeps it or which function moves from detector space to reciprocal space. Also, where does it keep the workspace? Thank you in advance esteemed seniors.
Hello, I can help with that. What IPTS and script are you looking at? I have a configuration file that can be used to slice the data in various ways including an I vs T plot. I would be happy to set that up for you.
