We are proud to announce version 6.7.0 of Mantid. Installation packages can be found on our download page. You can also access the source code on the GitHub release page.
This release includes a wide array of updates, bugfixes, and new features, which build on the functionality of Mantid. Notably there have been major changes to the code underlying event filtering. Further details can be found in the Framework release notes.
Highlights for this release include:
- Further refinements to the ALFView interface
- The peak overlay feature in Instrument Viewer now works in side-by-side view. There is also more flexibility to define how detector banks are arranged in the side-by-side view.
- Major changes have been made to the treatment of temperature in the Abins and Abins2D algorithms (see supporting documentation for more details)
- File browser performance issues on GTK-based linux environments has been fixed.
Please take a look at the release notes, which are filled with details of all the changes and improvements in many other areas. The development team has put a great effort into making all of these improvements and we would like to thank all of our beta testers for their time and effort helping us to make this another reliable version.
