In preparation for the new workbench, the minimum version of qscintilla, sip, and PyQt required was increased. In order to allow having side-by-side installs on redhat 7, a rebuild of mantid 3.10.1 and 3.11.0 were made available. These packages end in -2.el7.x86_64.rpm.
The rpms for the new dependencies are available in mantid’s copr repository. Instructions for using copr are available here.
Those who are not using redhat7 or side-by-side installs (e.g. mantidnightly) can safely ignore this announcement.
